What is this noise!?

I have a 2015 Honda Fit LX Manual Hatchback. A few months ago I started to hear a grinding noise for about 1-2 seconds upon start up. The noise coincided with the sound of the engine starting.

Maybe related, maybe not - the sound also seemed to only happen if it was cold out. It happened maybe once every two weeks, and went on for maybe a month and a half or so. It's been about 2 - 3 weeks since I've heard that noise.

In the video below is a new, but perhaps related noise - I press the start button- you'll hear the noise - then it starts. (Different than the previous noise, which happened at the same time). Next, when I press the start to turn the car off, car turns off - then you'll hear the noise again. It sounds like metal grinding and I can hear it very clearly in the cabin of the car. Seems to be roughly starter related but I'm unsure. Any ideas here?

Would it make the same noise when shutting the car off? And right before the start? Hmm...

I'm not sure. It happens to me every once in a while, but just on startup, never on shutdown.

I rarely ever step foot near a dealership.... does one need to be under warranty .... in order to take advantage of a tsb?
