any advice for an owner with a fit that's almost out of new car warranty?
hello guys,
I own a 2018 hit sport with almost 32000 miles on it.
as per honda new car warranty, i only have only 4k more miles on it.
is there anything i should do before the warranty is over?
The car doesn't seems to have nay mechanical problem other then vibration noise in 5th and 6th gear.
other than that, small cosmetic issues like door panel rubber is losing its glue, door power window makes little squeaky noise is there.
should i just take it into honda dealership and have EVERYTHING looked into ? if so, what other things should i have them changed ? (i probably would have to tell them that i DO have a problem, otherwise they won't simply change it under warranty ?)

just another quick questino regarding 5year / 60k miles warranty.
On the honda web site it states that 5 yea / 60k miles limited warranty includes; Covers ordinary maintenance and replacement of some parts due to normal wear and tear. With that comes 24-hour roadside assistance in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.
if this is true, will it cover replacement of clutch assuming that it needs replacement due to normal wear ? (eg. no racing)

I'm not sure on clutch (it really shouldn't need replacement by 60k miles.
But I PERSONALLY wouldn't bother with an extended warranty. I'm at 112k miles on my 2012 Fit and the only maintenance I've had to do is:
-Two sets of tires (replaced the original tires at 42k, replaced those at 109k)
-Brake rotors/pads (this weekend)
-One spark plug ejected itself at 70k (I don't know if that still happens on the GK)
-Brake fluid 3 or 4 times
-Annual engine/cabin air filters
That doesn't add up to anywhere near the cost of an extended warranty. $100 for the brakes (40 for rotors, $60 for StopTech Sport Pads (rough estimate)), $100 for fluid, $100-120 for filters, $300 for the spark plug (I hate working on this engine, I let a dealership deal with it...plus the plug ejected itself 150-200 miles from home, the dealership fixing it was literally less than a tow truck home)

thanks for the reply guys. i didn't any extended warratny. limited warranty that i mentioned above comes with all new honda vehicles.
and as for the clutch, i am learning how to drive manual on my fit, so i am expecting "expedited" clutch wear XD
