Should just pop out once you take the trim piece apart.

Looks like just Phillips screw needed to been taken out before you can pop off the plastic, that screw is just above the outlet to the left. Before I do that I want to check the fuse, I think the fuse box is under the dash for it but somehow I can't get the cover off to check the fuse! One set of fuses under there it's exposed but doesn't match the diagram shown on the fuse box adjacent to it. Help anyone on how to access and locate fuse for front dash power outlet? Thanks

Update, tried to unscrew the screw holding the plastic bezel in place, to no avail... screw is stuck in there, so i cant access the back of the power outlet to unplug it and take it out, i wish i knew where the fuse is for it so i can see if thats the problem, looked under the dash at the open fuses and dont know where to find the diagram to find the right one to pull, i see a seperate key/diagram to show which fuse is where but it doesnt seem to match up with the row/pattern that i see with the open fuses under the dash. any help is appreciated.

thanks

Huh? Makes no sense to try and remove the power outlet if you haven't first checked the fuse. The location of the fuse boxes and the fuses are in the owners manual. I believe the fuse labeled "ACC socket" is the fuse for what is normally called a "power outlet." I think ACC must be an abbreviation of accessory, but I don't know why they capitalized all 3 letters. If you think that is obtuse – they call the left hatch strut a "Stay Assembly, Left Tailgate Opener." There is a separate 20 amp fuse for each ACC socket.

The diagrams or illustrations in the printed owners manual are too small to easily see. I suggest you download the pdf from Honda's web site. With the pdf opened in acrobat reader you can enlarge the illustrations. You can make them very very big before they start to get blurry. I am now looking at an illustration of a fuse box at 300 percent magnification (page 425) and it still looks clear. It is really a croppy illustration though. It looks like they took the trouble to make a pen and ink drawing or digital drawing, instead of using a blurry photograph, but instead of using crisp lines to define the borders of different objects, they used a drawing with poorly implemented shading, so that it is hard to see where one object ends and another begins. They also focus in on a very small areas, so small that you can't easily recognize which part of the car it is an illustration of – there aren't enough visual cues from surrounding objects.
