TPMS, ABS, Stability Control lights won't turn off
Car was parked outside on a spring day, and I think the tires in the sun got warm and made the TPMS think something was up. My wife had just started to drive down our long driveway and asked me to take a look. She got out of the car and we both looked at the tires, all seemed well, but I said I'll back up the driveway to the house and check pressures with my gage to be sure. I forgot to get the key fob from her, and I think I got a warning beep as I moved out of range of the fob in her pocket, but it kept running so I got back to the garage, shut it off, and checked the tires (they were fine). Now when the car is driven all these other warning lights (except CEL) are on. The TPMS starts off blinking continuously for awhile, then just stays on. I'm unable to reset the TPMS light. The other odd thing is that now the car takes two stabs of the push button to shut it off. If you only hit the button once, a little green light in the button comes on, and it keeps running until you hit it again. Reading some other threads, I disconnected negative battery cable, waited a bit, and hooked it back up, but nothing changed. I suspect something with the ECU got messed up when it was operated out of range of the fob. Car seems to run just fine. AutoZone said their code reader isn't sophisticated enough for something like this, so I'm about to take it back to the dealer and hope they don't go on a wild goose chase. Thoughts?
