I finally got around to upgrading my Mexican GK5 tray/battery to a 51R size and found that the old tray had worn clean through the paint underneath. Figured I would let you guys know it was a thing. Pic attached for reference.
$10 bucks for a bit of touch up paint (or any paint, for that matter) is much cheaper than replacing a rusted part.
