New Cabin Air Filter..Easy Project

FitFrack posted a video on how to replace the cabin air filter. ..it made it a very painless do it yourself project ! I knew mine was dirty because the service rep said it was bad but the cost for a factory filter was over 50.00 .I went across the street but was quoted a price of 42.00 for it but I think they give me a price for a engine air filter by mistake. Next time I will step up to a KnN so I can regularly clean it and have the best quality air possible. Since I have smokers in the car I will clean it every 8,000 miles or so. Since the Fits airconditioning is a little weak in hot and humid weather (over 100 yesterday in central Florida ) anything I can do to help keep it cooler is worth doing. Next month will be quality ceramic tint.

Note that the stock filter is HEPA quality, as are several aftermarket ones, the layer of activated charcoal stops a lot of crap coming through. Check the K&N version to see if it has the same thing, cause dust in the AC condenser = bad smell eventually.
