the bluetooth jammie i got from fatman does not work with sirius. i was able to pair it with the radio in my ex, but it did not want to play audio, stating not connected when bluetooth was selected as an audio source. i tried it with my pad while it was playing music, same deal.

i am back to square one... honda really f'd up here.

but, i have an HDMI port...

Has anyone wanting an AUX input tried a USB soundcard such as the Griffin iMic plugged into the EX?


[edit: I answered my own question--the head unit doesn't see it. Apparently, it's only looking for a filesystem on a USB memory device]

 

The HDMI might be the way to go. I've never seen an adapter that does just audio to HDMI, but most VGA (computer monitor) to HDMI adapters have headphone jacks for audio.

Something like this might do the trick.
