Aux Jack Music Question

Aux Jack Music Question
I have been attempting to use my LG G4 cell phone to play music via the aux jack on my 2012 Fit. And I am failing miserably. The audio is way low even with the phone volume and stereo volume maxed out. Anyone else have this problem? I am trying to use Amazon Music and Pandora as opposed to my own music that I have on a drive.
Thanks for any help/advice you can offer.

You should first narrow your search into what could be the problem.
I'd start with your aux cable - could be the easiest and cheapest fix. Try a different aux cable if you have a spare, or otherwise try the same aux cable with a different sound system.
Another suggestion is to grab a flashlight and look inside the aux jack hole to ensure it's not stuffed with some nasties.

But can come the aux jack "has never been used, brand new" on a 2012 Fit in 2018.
Has this car been hiding under a rock for the last 6 years?

Have you tried the USB connection in the glove box? Obviously, it takes a different cable than the dashboard jack but worth a try to sort out your issue.
I have an old iPod connected to the USB ('11 Sport AT) and the OEM radio plays, sorts, sees everything (a bit clunky finding "Artists") and the sound can be very loud if you want it to be.
