Yea. check the ocmputer section. It's actually the same cord that goes from your speakers to your computer. If you look at the ipod section, you will not find it. Took me a while cuz of this trivial classification.

i bought myself one of these (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...Fencoding=UTF8), which is a male on one end and an ipod dock connector on the other--and the sound quality is MUCH better than the male/male i'd been using previously.

If you have the dock (came standard with some older ipods), you don't need fancy cables. Ipod --> dock --> dock Lineout achieves the same thing. A simple male to male cable will work much better from the lineout than the headphone out.

Bought a cable at Radio Shack for $3.95 and plugged in a tape player. The cable will work with MP3 and iPod.

Anyone know of any cables out there that can make a headphone out behave like a line out? I've heard that using line out has much better sound quality than the headphone out, but my mp3 player (a creative labs zen) only has headphone out.

In most cases, the headphone out and the lineout are the same jack. I've had players that share the same jack even for optical out. This happens a lot on CD players and Minidisc players

The ipod is unique in that it has a lineout through the dock connector, but not immediately accessible out of the box. You need a special cable or the actual dock.

The link I posted is that cable. You just need a 3.5mm male to male cable.

Just get the monster cable "i car charger" that uses the aux out and converts it to a standard 1/8" headphone jack. Then use a standard 1/8" to 1/8" cord and connect it to the aux input jack on the car.
