I was shopping around this week for a RV6 downpipe and was told by my supplier and RV6 themselves that it is now discontinued.

Such a disappointment as I’m now ready to take my GK5 to the next level of performance.

We dyno tuned a GK5 with the RV6 and it picked up 8 HP peak and 15-20 HP across the board with just the down pipe added vs the stock car with tune.

Is there another alternative brand?

Not sure. Maybe it wasn’t selling enough units

 

Small market. They are focused on the current Honda Accord and Civic.

I love my RV6 downpipe by the way. Quality stuff.

 

possibly, but it's not like there's any shortage of GK5's on North American roads.
I could see doing that on a car that's 10+ years old, but the GK5 is still very recent and sold more than 1.5 million units worldwide since 2015

Damn, this is crappy news. I'm sure my cat will be fine for years, but if I ever want to replace it i'll have to get it cut and welded in now, and I'll lose my ceramic coating . Thanks for the update dude

 

Daaaaaamn... This is a very sad news..... I was Lucky enough to be able to grab one.... Really bummed since the heade/collector is really well built....😔

 

I'm saddened by the news just finding out now myself, I was planning on trying to grab one up for myself... Such a bummer!!!
