I'm not sure the actual speeds; I wasn't and couldn't really look. Definitely fun though

Thank you. I'm having fun with it. I made some magnetic numbers for it, but it looks like I'll have to redo the class letters. They're slightly too small for regs:

After autocrossing the car do you feel there is a need for a rear "sway bar"? I had one on my GD3 and i thought it helped a little.

My car is super tight. A rear swaybar is one way to loosen it up. Stiffer rear springs would help; stickier front tires, etc. there's a few ways that would help. I think a swaybar would help. I've got one on the way.

Just installed a set of these springs today. Thanks for being the guinea pig on seeing if ge8 springs fit the gk5. By the way what tires are you running for autocross?

I've been happy so far with it. I've only got about 5000 mles on the springs but all is good.

I've got 4 205/50/16 re760's on the way and two (front) RE-71R's for track only when I can find them. I also ordered an Ultra UR-AR19-472 19mm rear sway bar for the JDM City/Jazz GK. I really hope it fits! I'm taking a chance that my research is correct and it will work. They make 16mm and a 19mm. Ifthe combo of tires and sway bar doesn't loosen this thing up I don't know what will.

Hopefully I see an improvement? I'll keep you posted when it gets here

UR sway bar arrived today. I'm very, very happy to report it bolted right on. No trouble at all.

Anybody know the function of these? They can't be reinstalled with the bar

Not sure what the plastic pieces are for but where did you get the anti sway bar? that may cme in handy for me when towing. Already got the air shocks independent which cuts back on the body roll and seesaw effect of the shocks. adding the bar will lessen the body roll even more.

I'm guessing they're part of the underbody aerodynamics. They can't offer much protection to the spring perches.

I found a seller on eBay. Google the part number above. It's for the JDM Honda City.

No drilling, no mods, etc. back it on to oil change ramps and bolt it on.

I haven't posted in here in a while. My most recent changes are probably better suited to this thread. I added Tein green springs to the rear and kept the H&R's in the front. Konis are still going strong at 13,000 miles.

Teins lowered the back about 5mm. Total drop is now about 44mm front; 45mm rear ( not sure how level ground was and tank was empty.

Tein's are a little stiffer which is what I am really after.

I filled the rear pivot bushings with 3M 8609 urethane in an attempt to stiffen them. I haven't tested it yet and I welcome feedback of the longevity of this mod.

I'm going to drop the axle again this weekend to inspect them. I'd like to do the front as well if this holds up. Rear inside bushings on the front a arms. Engine torque mounts are planned too.

Just ordered myself a set of H&R springs and the progress rear seat bar. I've got roughly 30k miles on mine and the front struts are starting to go out, right front one especially was getting pretty noisy. Waiting on warrantied suspension parts from Honda as they're on National back order. I'll probably do the same strut/shock combo as yours in the fall. I daily this thing and mostly looking for a stiffer sportier ride like my Evo 9. How's yours doing.

I have stock wheels and feel the rear wheels are too in.

Will the 10mm spacers you used fix this issue?

I'm thinking koni yellows + swift spring but can't find any koni's for GK.

10mm spacers will widen the track width and move them closer to the edge of the fender for sure. I wouldn't add them without replacing studs though.

Koni doesn't offer yellows for the Fit.

I have more extensive changes posted here:

Jhn, nice car. On the GE Koni orange you use was the installation exact fit or did you have to mod some parts?

Exact fit. Brake lines, ABS, everything. They bolted right in just like OE.
