Eibach Pro-Kit for the GK5

For those who might be interested in lowering your Fit 2015. I've received an email from Eibach and apparently, the specifications have changed for the front springs in the Pro-Kit for the GK5 model. Lowering height seems to be the same and it was specified that the back springs are the same.

They do not recommend using the front springs intended for the 2014 model.
Model number is 4091.140 and 2014 model number is 4081.140

Not specifically. Just that the front springs were new and designed for the 2015 Fit and that they didn't recommend the use of the 2014 kit.

Hi Mike, just see your topic. Is it 4081.140 cannot be fitted to GK5 model. Eibach mentioned 4091.140 is new designed for GK5, it is based on what? Will drop he performance? . Im going to install 4081.140 soonest. Hopefully you may share your experience/knowledge. thanks Mike.

I don't know if it can or can't be fitted. My guess is that it will fit but since the model number is different and Eibach would not recommend going with the previous model (warranty void on springs themselves), I personally would not put the older model on the GK5. The specs have most probably changed and it will most probably negatively impact the cars handling.

I went with Swift instead. I'm satisfied with my choice.
