+38 offset on 195/55r16
+38 offset on 195/55r16
hey guys, just got my GK5 not too long ago, was wondering if it's safe to switch to a lightweight rim that I've been eyeing that's 16x6.5j +38 ?
I'm already currently on slight upsized tyres 195/55r16.. was wondering if +38 offset would be pushing it and could rub the fenders?
car is not lowered, and definitely no intention to lower. additional info, OEM specs are 185/55r16 (16x6j +50). new setup would poke 21mm.
cheers and thanks all,
Vinc

It's not going to rub unless you have lowered your car? I'm on 16X7" 38mm offset with 205/50/16. Mine doesn't rub. Your setup will have approximately 6mm less poke towards the outside of the car and be 6mm further away from the strut.
