Summer tires for stock 16s?
#2
How wide is the rim? I have 205/50/16's on my stock 09 Fit wheels (6" wide I believe).
I have a set of BFGoodrich Sport Comp 2's in 205/50/16 on a different set of wheels and they transform the car, highly recommend.

Also...
will these 15s fit on the fit? I has a set of 15s from our old mini cooper (NOT S) with snow tires I am hoping to re-use on this in the winter. Just to need figure out what kind of lug nuts to use with it.
15" 4x100 5.5J 45 offset
Above:
I think the stock 16s are 16x6 +53
think stock tire size is 16-185-55
Another set of wheels really isn't in the cards. I know you can usually step up with width some what and be fine. We did that on our old mini cooper as well. stock was 195 and we put 205s on it.

I guess that works. not sure why i didn't look but if you bump up to a even a 195/50 you get plenty of choices including my favorite Yokohama S.Drives.

I have heard a lot of great things about the S Drives. I may give them a try after my BFG's but...I do love my BFG's so I don't know.
The tire specs will have a width mounting range so make sure whatever tire you go with will fit on a 6" rim.

I have the mini also to replace some sumitomos that were SO noisy after 10k miles you couldn't talk to the passenger without yelling.
At some point we will upgrade the suspension on the Fit as well to get rid of the floaty feeling and hopefully stiffen it up a bit to more match the feeling of the mini we had. Fun car to drive, expensive to maintain and ours went to crap right after we paid it off and the warranty ran out. spent 4k in 3 monhts and the mini is still in the shop right now...can't wait to get rid of that thing. bought it 4 years ago with 8k miles on it. has 88 now and it is falling apart fast. amazing.
hoping this honda lasts forever.
