I am planning to buy a set of 16x7 wheels, my stock tire has 16k miles on it, will it fit? Any one here has tried this?

 

These are 7" wide wheels with OEM tires. A little stretched but still drivable

And 16x7 with 185/55/16 isn't really stretched at all.

wow , borbets , where did you buy those , haven't seen them in a while , tire rack used to sell them but not anymore ,as far as i know

 

Bought them right here for $60 about 2-1/2 years ago. That was for all four. They were in excellent condition. The seller had tons of interest. I was the only one stupid enough to go out in a snow storm that landed up being like 6" of total snow fall. I figured if I waited a day they would be gone?

Anyway, I figured the looked better on my sons $800 beater Ford ZX2 so I gave them to him.





I put on a set of Maxxim wheels that I bought off Craigslist for $120. I had to drive to Milwaukee from Chicago suburbs to pick them up. So add another $20 in gas plus my time. They're more modern looking and IMO fit the look of the car better.
