OBD code 2422 2018 Honda Fit Evap Stuck

I got about 40k miles on my 2018 Honda Fit and the check engine light came on. I took it to Autozone and this code came up

OBD code 2422

Apparently that means the EVAP system solenoid is stuck. I need to know where it is located and how to fix. So far Ive been told it could be spider webs.

take it to a dealer and see if they'll fix it free of charge. I see you're in Texas and the minimum warranty on emissions is 3 years, 36k miles for most components, however as a good will, maybe they would extend that coverage. I happen to live in one of the states where the warranties on the components is extend by time and or miles. Give it a shot, maybe you'll get lucky.

Code

I am in Texas but my car is registered in South Carolina, I already spoke with the dealer they want $374 to replace it. Autozone says the part costs $60 but Honda dealership says $180.

Take a hammer and give it a tap, wack, or how ever you feel comfortable. It worked with one of my other cars.

Cause of stuck is usually carbon buildup. YouTube it. 12$ cleaner spray and you could be good to go.

Note the obd can ALSO know when the unit simply is not responding IE the component is dead. Probably separate codes. If so, then yes u have to replace it.

Accessing the 2nd gen is dead easy. Don't know what 3rd is like.

There is two evap solenoid one near the rear of the fill up and that one is called vent valve solenoid and then there is one at the engine bay called purge valve solenoid. I changed the purge valve myself but it require you completely remove the intake box to get to the nut holding the purge valve. I don't see how you can clean this part because the moving part is internal and you cant even clean unless you completely remove the valve.

it should be near the rear where the charcoal canister is. Here is a photo of the charcoal canister unit.
