The fastener that needs to be replaced
Hi, everyone. I was hearing vibrations under the hood of my 2013 Fit and I discovered that one of the fasteners connecting the cowl to the car body was loose. The fastener came out with no effort when I was checking tightness of items under the hood, so I am under the impression that this fastener needs to be replaced.

Does anyone know the part name/number so I can order a replacement? Thanks for your assistance.

Alternatively, I could use the zip tie method, but I don't know if that would hold it steady enough.

 

Check with local parts store for something similar or go to Honda. Take the old in either case

 

I just zip tied that area after removing the cowl. Seems to hold it in place just fine, no rattling.

 

ive been using a ziptie on each end of mine for 2 years. no problems.
