Windshild washer fluid freezing ???

well.. it has been cold ... 30 around daytime.. 14-15 during night time..

i had to drive early in the morning and whever there is frost on windshild, i use washer fluid.. but.. it did not come out.. motor worked but no fluid..

later when sun rised, temp went up.. it worked just as it should...

my other honda's windshild fluid worked just fine for cold weather..

i am guessing.. dealer put water/fluild mixed..since i got the car from NC which is normally warm...

i just put a new gallon of washer fluid last night, but it happpened again this morning...(may be left over water from previous ???)

i wonder any of you have experienced this problem..

You might try getting some washer fluid "concentrate" and adding it without watering it down to lower your fluids freezing piont.

I've had the same problem for the past few days here in Mississippi. We've had a bit of below freezing weather here for several days (not very common) and on the worst days the fluid was frozen. I replaced it with some washer fluid from Auto Zone that claimed to be freeze free. It works so far. When you put the new fluid in, make sure to spray it enough to get the new fluid through the hoses.

When I had my Fit in to reset the fuel cap light they gave me a free car wash. At -30C the rear nozzle froze up and I had to blow into it for a few times b4 the washer fluid would flow. We have to switch to -45C fluid for the winter months.
I e-mailed the dealer a caution about it.
