I have a leased 2020 Fit with only 20k miles and it’s done me well. I have like three months left and I probably will buy it. I’m just curious, I know the earlier Fits are known for being really good regarding repairs and longevity but how are the last generations fairing? I’m hoping this car will last a long time. I almost never drive more than 7k a year and I do all the appropriate things. It would be awesome to have it for a decade or more and really not worry too much.

2015 EX Stick.

Clutch replaced at 84,000 miles. Now at a little over 91,000 miles it runs great with routine maintenance.

I bought it March 2015 and was putting almost 18k a year the first 5 years. Then COVID hit and I'm now averaging about 3k since I'm mostly WFH. I'm on my 3rd set of tires. No major repairs, just common maintenance like 2x CVT fluid, preventive brake fluid change, spark plugs changed. I've actually not replaced pads or rotors since I was doing mostly highway miles.

I do have CTC noise at start up and paint peeling on the WOP color that was fixed and then started on another panel.

It's been a good commuter car, albeit cheap feeling.

2016 LX with 95K currently. Biggest unexpected expense was replacing the condenser when the A/C failed - just after the 3/36 warranty expired.

Had injectors & rail replaced at 88K under warranty. I added spark plug replacement and a valve lash adjustment while they had the engine apart - would have had it done at 90K service anyway.

Third set of tires, second battery. Running Top Tier fuel only to mitigate any carbon buildup.

I bought my GE8 with 180k on the clock. Soon after I got it the check engine came on. After doing research and changing the plugs and coils. Then the injectors. CEL kept coming back almost a year later. Took it to a mechanic he rechecked my work and told me to use a fuel injector cleaner. That worked but only for awhile. I was beginning to regret getting such a high mileage car. Someone told me it could be the head gasket or even the head itself. Finally maybe a year later I got someone to adjust the valves. Haven't seen a CEL since. Since that day runs and drives great. Replaced the tires with 205/50/16s. Love it. At 191k+ now.

I have a 2017 w/ 70k. The biggest issue was [a cheap broken plastic piece preventing the car from starting](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...d-plastic.html). Wish I knew how to fix it before it happened, but otherwise this vehicle is wonderful. I also just had the fuel system cleaned and brake fluids flushed. Still love the car.

I have just over 70,000 miles on my 2015 standard shift Fit. Besides recall stuff and other 'minor' issues, it's doing great in my opinion. Can't see any reason to get something else.

2015 LX. 250k km on my odometer. 🤷‍♂️ Love every drive. Done a bit of track time. Hope to see it to 500k.

2015 LX. Bought at 92k. Now has over 121k on it. Have since had to replace the A/C compressor (which also cracked my front windscreen...), tires, brake pads, gear oil (6MT), did valve clearance reset, had to clean TB and brake fluid flush but that's been about it. It's a well designed car, I normally have 6-700lbs in the rear with the seats folded down at all times so my rear wheel bearings are going out. But I have driven it rather harsh so that's a fair trade there. My only complaint about this car is the drum brakes. I understand Honda's finance team probably knew they could save a few bucks by going with drums but seriously, 2015 is too new for that setup. I'll be intending on swapping it out soon enough. Other than that, decent car.

2015 EX just hit 139k miles on mine. I do all my own repair and maintenance which, for a small Honda, it's not too bad. The electrical is what kills me, it's always something then that leads to another and do on and Honda's can do some reeeally funky stuff when it's an electrical problem. I had a Del Sol back in the 90s that was the same way so, I mean, it's on par for the course as far as Honda is concerned, just gotta get use to always diagnosing something. I tend to run mine pretty hard, and not just your typical "out having fun" hard driving, I take it to the track a lot and race as well as use it as my delivery car for work so it's got lots of little upgrades as I go when something breaks or just plain can't handle my driving style lol. Up next I'm changing from the custom air ride suspension I put in (it was kinda cheap, I needed it fast after putting it in a ditch on a rainy race day) over to the Godspeed set I got from them shipped out of California that's sitting in my garage. I'm about to do the injectors so since I'm tearing down to top end valve territory, those are getting some attention and adjustment as well as all the seals, sensors, hoses gaskets, blah blah blah. Every Honda I've ever had, once you get closer to 150k, you really should get it done otherwise it's gonna give out on a lot of other systems real quick as 300k comes on. But yeah, it's been pretty much all the and problems and whatnot as they come up, these Fits are very predictable I've had one of each generation, this is my 3rd. Not sure how far I want to go tuning it, I'm getting old and I can't turn wrenches like a kid anymore. Might trade in for a Civic Type R.... 🤣🤣🤣

I have a 2015 EX, manual 6-speed with 126,000 miles. I had an A/C (hose?) changed (according to the dealer) and a starter changed, both under warranty. Those have been the only issues. I do all my own maintenance (very simple): oil & filter, air filter, spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant, belt. Thinking about changing the clutch this Summer. I'm hearing some humming noise from the rear of the car (bearings?). I go through tires more often, as I drive a very curvy road daily. It's a fun car to drive and everything is working well.

thanks for sharing. Would you happen to have sourced an aftermarket part# for clutch kit replacement? I think the base model from exedy for 1st and 2nd gen is shared with 3rd gen? I have a 2015 EX 6MT too, purchased at 39K, currently has 136K miles. Sounds like my throw out bearing is starting to go bad.

I bought the AISIN brand replacement clutch kit. I think it's a pretty reputable brand, probably OEM. I can look up the number if you need it; I have the part in my tool shed.

Have 138xxx, no major problems on EX but cleaning push button start from having some issues with button not making contact.

142k miles on a 2010 MT Sport. Had to change the AC compressor but I live in Florida so it runs all the time. Just routine maintenance, changed the plugs and slave cylinder at 130k otherwise. Still on the original clutch even, but again Florida is flat.

2019 Honda Fit Sport with CVT just hit the 100,000 mile mark, and no problems whatsoever. Greatest car I've ever had.
