Skunk 2 short shifter conversion for GD, will it fit the GE?

Basically, I don't want the hybrid shifter, my personal choice. I've asked this question over on Facebook and all I get is "JuSt BuY tHa HyBriD!" and well.. I don't want to, I'm stubborn like that.
Will the Skunk 2 adapter for the GD Fit fit my GE Fit? That's all I really need to know, I can cobble together a few different items for a better shifter feel from that.
