Where to buy Buddyclub short shifter for the GE8?

I can't find a vendor anywhere that sells it.. but apparently we have a member on here that has one on his fit:

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ifter-ge8.html

I was going to go ahead and do my shifter as well when I do my sound system, because that whole part needs to be pulled off anyways to do the wiring for the sound system and the shifter.

but if i can't find a place to get the buddy club shifter i was thinking about getting the mugen short shifter, are they the same thing?

Anyone know how these shifters are after a year of use? I really liked how the stock shifter USED to feel like it clicked into place... but it seems like after a year or so of use it stopped clicking in place.. it feels like a different shifter then when i first bought the car.

I have the Mugen shifter on my GE. I got it on 10/27/10 so it's been on a year now. Feels just like I got it yesterday. Of course you can't tell the difference anymore cause I've gotten use to it, but when i put it on, it was like wow, so much better feel on the shifter. Paid $180.45 shipped.

yeah... iam about to just buy the mugen shifter... i would rather buy a buddy club.... and what sucks is that i BELEIVE its the same part number and it would work on both GD's and GE's (and theres even a member on with a GE shifter... and i think he just got a GD one)... but if buddy club is too lazy to give a crap listing their products correctly and state that their shifter works with a GE.. then i think mugen is going to have my business...

i would REALLY rather support an aftermarket company.. but what can you do... its their lost in potential business.

iam really thinking about getting this one.. just because its listed to work with GE as well...

its so much cheaper.. and it says it on there as well as their actual manufacture website that it works with GE... i don't think anyone on the forum has one tho... i'll be the first.. arghhh so hard to make a decision.. why doesn't more people buy these things?!!! are we the only 2 here with a manual transmission?!
