Just bought a GD shifter off ebay cause it was a deal. I know the shifter is the same, but Ben at AJ Racing said the GE kit is different b/c it, "comes with extra washers to raise the console for fitment."

To those that have done the install, what does this mean, where do they go, and about how thick were the washers?

 

the shifter assembly gets washers put under them to raise the whole plastic assembly up so the shifter lever will work smoothly. just ask ben if you can buy some of these washers.

 

you can buy the washers (mount kit) here ... it is the ones that they include in the H-Fit Kits. H-Fit.com ...New Products Available now...

 

oooo a friend got me a T1R short shifter for my GE as a gift, can't wait to install it =p
