Loud clunking/grinding sound when starting fast from stop

Hi all. I have a 2008 Honda Fit, 155k miles. For the last few months, I've noticed that if I accelerate hard away from a stop, sometimes I'll hear a loud grinding or clunking sound. I instinctively lay off the accelerator, and when I accelerate more gingerly everything is fine. Again, I've ONLY experienced this problem when starting from a dead stop. Anyone have ideas on what could be causing this?

Broken engine mount. Notably, passenger side. (Right side)

For the record, this was indeed a broken engine mount. Got it repaired and no more clunking.
