I had my front window replaced a few weeks ago. All fine until today on highway I noticed a small piece of plastic flapping on the driver's side bottom of window. As I was pulling over, it flew off and was run over by cars behind me. I cannot find this piece in any online parts diagram.
ANY idea what this missing piece is called or where to find it?
That is the hood hinge cover. Based on the blob of glue/caulk/whatever visible in the picture I would assume that the glass installer broke the clip and instead of replacing it tried to glue the cover back on. You can get the cover from a dealership or online. You'll also want the proper clip/pin - parts 17 and 28 in the diagram in the link below.
