I went to check out a car to purchase tonight and as I was singing the title, I noticed an OS in the Other Pertinent Data field (Virginia Title)
I paused the purchase

can anyone me for sure what OS means?
Google says many different things
Out of state
out of state salvage
odometer

Sorry for the bump. Going through this now, did you ever figure out what OS means on the Virginia title?

 

hey, no , I never got a straight answer, the DMV could not answer my question, but it is not salvage. All you have to do to be sure is check with your insurance company, but I have Liberty mutual, and it’s not an issue.
