suspension recs
I'll preface this saying that, while this is only my second post to this forum, I'm clearly new...thus, the questions....
2010 Fit Sport, just passing 107xxx miles. Having front brake pads replaced this weekend, and having the rotors/rear brakes looked at as well. Also having the front suspension looked at. Suspension has been a bit shake, rattle and roll, for a while now. Not sure what to expect, but just wanted to ask what the move is...It seems like it could be as simple as ball joints, but, I do live in, and the car has been driven in New Orleans for its whole life, which means, flat everywhere, but horrible roads. Imagine the worst potholes you've ever hit, and then imagine whole roads being that for blocks at a time. That's the basic norm. So, again, what should I have looked at? Is it worth having the conversation of just replacing the full front suspension? And, on that note, with a Fit of this gen, hitting this mileage, are there any other typical maintenance issues to be expected either now, or within the next 5k? Thanks yall!

With regard to suspension, a general inspection by someone who knows a little about what he's doing should come first. I would not recommend replacing things without a reason. Needless to say, you are wise to inspect tires and brakes before anything else.
At 107K mi., the standard engine tune-up is valve adjustment, spark plugs, air filter, oil and oil filter. That sort of stuff.
Good luck.
