How Is The Spoiler Attached?

How Is The Spoiler Attached?

The sport model has a little spoiler that is installed on top of the rear hatch. How do they put that on there? How do base model people add one onto their cars? If you have a link, that will be fine.

Thank you Frenzal. The Milano Red paint has completely failed on our spoiler and I sometimes think about removing and repainting it.

When I had my Fit, the paint on the spoiler was awful. I wrapped it in black, but the result was not super.

I think you are better off repainting it.

Would you say that the factory produces a Base Fit, then drills two holes in the roof and attaches the spoiler?

Don't forget those 2 holes are threaded for the bolts and there's 4 other holes for the plastic clips. There's 2 different part numbers for the rear hatch, one with spoiler holes and one without.
