well, a little bit about me. i'm justin, 23, and i'm back in a honda (well, in april-may anyways). i'm trading in my 2004 r32 for a 2007 taffeta white sport which i ordered because i wanted 0 miles on my car (hell, they're not even pdi'ing it...i get to do that). i had a 3-year lapse of clarity starting in june of 2004 when i bought a 2004 .:R32 golf. i sold that to my sister so i could buy a 2005 beetle tdi, wherein i met some awesome people (two of whom finally got me back in a honda!)
well, the beetle came and went, the friends stayed, and not being able to find another 1998 itr like the one i had traded in on the .:R32, i bought a 1998 jetta glx. earlier this week, the sister comes to me and says she can't afford the .:R32 anymore, so i gave her the glx and took the .:R back, knowing full well the trade value far exceeded the payoff.
my first move thereafter was to check out the civic si. too much for me, i decided, so i drove a fit sport. it was love, and hey, the price wasn't half-bad either.
i ordered my fit sport yesterday, and i know it's a sound decision, and this time, it'll be VERY hard for me to get rid of it. i already ordered stuff for it, guess that's dedication.
you'll be seeing a lot of me, and once i have takumi, plenty of pics to follow.

woohoo!
after a week, 13 dealers, and 5 paid days off, i found my fit and i didn't have to wait 2 months for it!
we installed an aem intake, megan header, nvidia catback, tein suspension, carbon fiber hood, and my red badges today (all at the dealership no less!). the dealership was very understanding, and the fact that i drove 37 miles to get it played in my favor enough that they let me install my mods on it with the help of one of their techs (and only had to kick the tech $150 for his time).
i learned more about the fit than i ever wanted to know today.
next week should bring the rest of my jdm goodies from my buddy in the usaf who went junkyarding for me on his day off to save me a BUNCH of money.
the vw nightmare is over, and let me tell you, i'm soooo glad to be back in a honda. no more random misfires. no more random electrical gremlins. no more having to wait 3 weeks for clips to hold the bumper on.
now, it's off to bestbuy for a new ipod to use with my free ipod cable! i was ready to leave, and they said "wait, you forgot something" and handed me the ipod cable. i tell ya, it pays to know managers.
well, that, and managers can do stuff like work overtime and take a fit that they were going to raffle off and sell it. they can also let you do stuff like install mods at the dealership, use their tools, computers & lifts, and did i mention i got to use a 2007 fit as my runaround for the day while i sourced out a couple bolts i needed for another project?
eeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!
