Do most people buy 2 sets of car mats?

Hi, just wanted to know if most of you bought the all-weather car mats and the carpet car mats. I was told to do so but in hind-sight I don't think I need the carpet ones. Do you think they take un-used car mats back in exchange for something else? Thanks for any insight on this matter.

Check with your dealership to be sure. I purchased the all weather mats and really love them. Whenever I wash the car, they get removed and washed up and prepped. They look brand new. They should last you a good long time. I wanted the all weather instead of the carpet kind because they are harder to keep clean in the winter time.

If someone (at the dealership?) told you that you should buy BOTH the carpeted mats AND the all weather mats, they were stealing your money. The all weather mats can be washed when dirty, look fine, and last almost forever. Most people know in advance that the carpeted mats are almost impossible to clean and wear out extremely quickly, so if they buy anything from the dealer, they buy the all weather ones. Otherwise, buy aftermarket mats and save 50%.
