Remember the SOHC i-VTEC 1.3-liter engine unveiled in 2006 for the Civic Hybrid sedan? It appears that the new 1.3-liter i-VTEC engine for the new model is essentially that same engine minus the engine shutdown feature, rated at 100 ps (circa 96 bhp SAE 08/04 net). North American market versions of the new Fit will probably only get the 1.5-liter version of this engine, probably rated at around 116-120 bhp (SAE 08/04 net).

Am I the only one in thinking that the car looks butt-fugly?
Even the 'RS' looks slightly odd to me - it looks more suited to be an MPV ...
Slightly reminiscent of the Toyota Alphard/Previa too...And the back of it looks like a Citreon for some reason.

I'm not quite sure on the interior though =S

If those pictures are accurate depictions, I'm rather glad I bought the 07.'

Maybe it will grow on us, or change a bit.

Looks like a Yaris and a Smart Car had made a mistake, I mean a baby.

I'll keep my '07 for now.

Well, if these pics are for real, im also heaving a big sigh of relief. After the radical and stunning changes Honda did to the Civic I was so scared they would do something like that to the Jazz, and my Jazz is only 2 months old now. If this is what its going to look like (like it ran into a wall and squashed its nose), im so glad i bought one now. Regarding the interior, i like the steering wheel, which features on the Civic's, that looks really rad. The gauges are ok but the rest of it doesnt look too cool.
