Hmm...'00 Integra GSR or '96 EK?
Hmm...'00 Integra GSR or '96 EK?
Alright, so I'm still car shopping/making my options more broad. Here's the choices (both are manual):
2000 Acura Integra GSR - $5,000
-STOCK
-white, no dents or scratches, black interior
-71,674 miles on it

1996 Honda Civic Hatchback EK - $2,000-$3,000 (the seller is still deciding)
-white, not sure on the condition on the exterior, still waiting for a reply from seller
-the seller says the "interior needs some work", still waiting for reply
-B18B motor
-AEM CAI
-Stage 3 Clutch
-DC headers
-CTR front end headlights, grill, lip and side markets, CTR wing, spoon side mirrors, white rims, carbon fiber hood, mugen 4-point harness seatbelts, driver racing seat

So, those are the two cars I've narrowed down to so far. Which car would get the best gas mileage? Which one is faster? Which one would YOU choose and why? Thanks guys! (haha I hope you guys aren't getting annoyed of my integra posts :P)

If i had to decide between the two i would get the gsr, due to the fact that it is in stock form and it looks a lot more well mantain and better condition.
the civic on the other hand is nice, because of all the extra ctr goodies, but it doesn't seem like it was taken care of im not sure if your just looking for a fast car or all around clean and fast. from the second picture of the civic there seems to be some paint coming off on the lower side skirt, but again make your choice! where is the gsr located if you don't get it i will lmao!

GSR no doubt, thats a sweet GSR for that price! But Fit over them all lol!
I kinda want to buy that GSR lol! I cant belive the condition it seems to be in! I would stay away from that Civic though, he probaly street raced it and thats alot of stress on the car..Im sure he redlined every shift aswell and that will hurt a motor even a Honda! Plus the Teg your getting leather interior(i think)and a stock canvas to make the car your own! Good luck bro, and keep us posted!

Yea, I was going for the GSR because it's stock. The Civic has a messed up interior that's a turn off. The GSR is nice and clean inside and out. Also, I like the thought of working on my own cars and putting parts I hand picked. Haha, I already knew I wanted the GSR, but I wanted to read your opinions ;]

Which to choose
My initial pick would of course be the EK. However, you will probably run into expensive maintenance bills with this EK. I agree, I would think that the previous owner raced the EK several times already. Go for the GSR. It would be better spending money on putting in after-market parts into the GSR rather than replacing all the worn out parts in the EK.
