funny looks from the tire shop
Twice now, when I was out pricing tires for my new rims, the guy asks what car,.....I say Honda Fit. He looks all googly eyed at me and obviously never heard of the car. I just keep staring at him trying not to laugh. I guess tire guys think they know every model on the road and were baffled by the name "Honda Fit". I guess he thought I was yanking his wanker

I part own a tire shop and I know what a Honda Fit is... 
As a tire guy, I actually don't know quite a lot of older models and what sized tires 60% of the cars/trucks on the road run, but Google is definitely my friend.
I suggest you tell your local tire shop to get into the 21st century and surf the world wide web. Or use AIM and message CityTireBrian if he has any questions or wants to buy Volks/Advans/etc for local Fit customers needing new shoes.
