Fit Sport 5MT vs AP1 S2000

Ya so I'm considering a Fit. Has anyone else came from a S2000?

My biggest concern is Performance. But with the K20 swap and al the bolt-ons it mightnot be too bad down the road. I don't intend to swap the motor right away. Not even soon.

I'ce owned 31 cars. 11 Nissan 240sx(4 Turbo), S13 Silvia, 4 B13 SE-Rs, 4 RX-7s, EK B16 Swap,EVO IV, Lightning, S2000, and others. This will be my first Econobox. But my job is one that I have to travel a bit so I figure this would be great fo that.

I'm going this afternon to see if I can test drive one at the local dealer. I really wanted Taffeta White but I'm a year late on that. So Blackberry Pearl is my next choice.

I dunno.. unless you need the practicality/economy I see no reason to go from an S2000 to a Fit. But I'll happily trade you my BOM if you'd like :)

If you weren't so far I'd consider it. Unless it is white then I'll consider it anyways!

Well the fact is I need to be able to work out of my car. I'm an Insurance Adjuster.

I have both. The fit athough not as fast is just about as fun to drive as the S.

^^Agreed. It's not as fast, but it's more versitle and better on gas.I traded in my 2007 STI in for it and haven't regreted it.It does look like your into speed from your car's and talk about engine swap's.If so,you might want to consider a Mazdaspeed 3.It has room like the Fit/pretty good MPG/not much more expensive/easy to tune and pretty fast.:)

I would have stuck with my EVO or look into an Si or RSX Type S. The Mazdaspeed is nice but I know where it will lead in the end.

If you have to make the switch, the Fit is the way to go. It's not the visceral thrill that the s2k gives, but it's quite a bit of fun to toss around on the daily commute. Sway bar, tires, springs and you'll be happy.

I currently have an AP2 as well as a Fit and I wouldn't even consider giving up one for the other.

If you can swing it, keep the S2K as your "toy" to track, auto x and drive in the nice weather. Keep the Fit for a DD while keeping mods to a minimum.

Although I do plan on SC'ing my Fit to match the blower on my S2K. :D Nothing like having two blown cars!

I'm another S2000 owner looking into the Fit as a second (main) vehicle, mainly due to the S becoming way more of a track car than I thought it would be

So I test drove a Fit. It was pretty fun. Peppier then I thought it would be. The douche @ the dealer swore up and down he could be me and 08 in Taffeta White! LMAO

YA so less then 1 mile into the test dive I got pulled over. Yes in a FIT! Not my yellow S, Red Lightning, White EVO IX or any of the other sports cars I owned recently. But in a FIT! WTF!?

I'm going to do some research and look into keeping the S and getting a Fit also. I can sell my Hardtop for a Down payment and garage the S. Hmm
