I've been thinking about paiting the fog surrounds on my SSM but want it to look good and not chip very easily. I know the factory paint will need scuffed up and possibly primed but I'm checking to see what paint/shade/color matches the plastic grill section in the bottom of the bumper.

Thanks!

I used a krylon camouflage flat black. I scuffed mine pretty good and didnt prime it. I used a flat clear to help with no scuffs or chips but i cant remember what brand it was. I got everything at autozone if that helps.

I'm thinking a satin black may look better than a flat black?

Mine actually matches pretty well. Heres a pic so you can see.

Hope this helps decide on what black to use.

That looks great! I don't know if I'm willing to do this to my wifes SSM, but it looks great.
