Question Anyone know of a body kit that will make my FIT look shorter length wise

I would like a kit that will make my FIT look shorter length wise. I would also like to know what the OEM kit is made of?

i dont think any body kits for the US front will make your car look shorter.

they will fit like the stock bumper.

the only kit to shorten your Fit is the JDM front and rear. You'll shave about 6" total. The car will be as short as a Mini Cooper probably lol.

Where can I get quality JDM parts

I want to get some quality JDM parts that don't weigh anymore than the OEM parts. Does anyone know where I can find good JDM parts.

we are saying you should do the JDM conversion. JDM = japanese domestic market. USDM = united states domestic market.

right now you have the usdm front and rear bumpers. if you want your car shorter, you should throw on the JDM stock bumpers. but that isnt all you need. you'll need fenders, hood, rebar, blah blah. it is a legnthy list, and it is expensive

if you wanna shave off a little bit of weight, you could take off the fit sport lip kit

and if you really really wanna shave off weight, take out spare tire, jack, and strip the whole car

Well I understand what JDM means. I have looked it up, and there are a number of different companies that offer JDM parts. Which one can i get stock bumpers from?

yeah, its gonna be a pricey conversion

i don't know if this is what you're looking for but i'll just put it out there. hondafittuner.com has two kits that are mugen style and work with the usdm models but most likely unpainted, i guess its the alternative to having a mugen kit on a jdm conversion (aka money saving)

http://www.hondafittuner.com/home.php?cat=41
its the last two

I actually gave some thought about this today. You don't necessarily have to call it 'JDM conversion' because there are many other countries uses the 'shorter bumpers' for their Jazz/Fit including the MMC version. Specifically, you could order the bumpers from Australia, UK, various parts of Europe, South America, or even China. Perhaps you could save soem money by ordering the body panels from other countries beside Japan.
