hey honda! PLEASE....... make the honda fit better looking than the toyota yaris. i really like the exterior of the toyota yaris over the fit but the interior of the toyota yaris is really stupid. why the hell would someone want the stupid speedometer..... thing in the middle? i have enough problem when my family is nagging me about speeding. i don't need them to know how fast i'm going by looking straight at the speedometer right in the middle. and one more thing make the exterior of the fit cute and agressive looking (cuter and more agressive than the yaris) and make the interior like the accord, tsx, or tl. the japanese fit looks like a mini minivan to me so make it less van like please. make it more like the yaris but with a better looking face and interior.

True...looks are a very subjective matter.

Personally, I like the look of the Fit (with rims and lowered of course!) I think the Fit has a nice clean, smooth design. Some of the others like Toyota Yaris and Scion XA and Nissan Versa are just to "bubble" shaped for my liking. But hey, that's just my opinion here. For some, the Fit may come off looking too plain in comparison to some other offerings.

What I would really like to see, is Honda offer a trim level that really appeals to the aftermarket crowd. Maybe a real Mugen kit w/ a coil-over suspension...just something that would set it apart from the grocery getter trim level. I guess we will all see what Honda has in mind come January '06!!!!

 

I'm with you Silver N Chrome - If Honda would do something like TRD and sell warranty level after market performance goodies I'd be all over it!!!

 

I don't care for the looks of the Fit, either. It's too boxy and minivan-ish.

The new Civic coupe is beautiful. It would be nice to see a downsized Civic coupe-ish Fit with the rear end slanted a little. I would not mind sacrificing a little cargo room for a much more attractive exterior.

But, looks are not the deal breaker for me. Fuel economy, price, and reliability are the most important things (in descending order).

I think the Hyundai Getz and VW Polo are both very attractive little cars. Not so for the Fit. Or Yaris, either.

 

Don't know if its the same in your country but the UK Yaris has a LED digital dash that is BRILLIANT and so easy to read once you're used to it being in the centre
That saying we're having a Honda Jazz as well as its a lot more versatile car....
