Hi I bought a 09 honda fit at the beginning of september and still have not received my license plates. It has been over a month and half and it has not come.

I was wondering for all those CA Fit owners when their license plates came? Should I call the DMV to ask when it is coming?

 

on my other car it took 2 1/2 months

 

mine came in last week.

bought mine in august.. why are you in such a hurry for the plates?

 

Bought mine a day after release (Aug 27) and they came just over a week ago. I thought it took longer than usual btw.

 

bought in mid sept and still no plates.

 

takes about 6 weeks, should be in this week.

 

ya it takes a while... no need to have your plates yet.. i think its better when you dont have your plates

 

Yeah, I think my dealer said up to 6 or 8 weeks. I probably won't get mine until sometime in November.

 

It took 4 weeks for me to receive my plates.

 

I got my plates in 4 weeks exactly.

 

bought mine and got it like 2 weeks later. Still havent put on the plates yet though.

 

My plates came a few days before my car arrived because I completed the purchase up front, before delivery. I got plates about 3 weeks from when I completed the purchase, so if you have received your vehicle and don't have plates after all this time, call your dealer to make sure they've done their part (and done it correctly).

 

Mine came in less than two weeks after I purchased which really surprised me cause it took about a month for my previous car

 

Same here, and I'm not putting mine on till I have to.
