I bought my new Fit at the start of December. I went from a 2002 VW GTI to the more flexible and 4 door, Fit. I got my first chance to put those four doors and space to the test today...

I teach highschool, but my real passion is coaching. Over the holidays I had to take my boy's basketball team to a tournament. I had to take 4 players, their gear, 6 basketballs, first aid kit and water bottles. And when I say 4 players I mean 4 almost 6 foot tall giants. Oh, and did I mention the weather has been nothing but snow for two weeks!



As I pulled up to pick the boys up I thought, "this is going to be a tight fit." As I got out of the car the boys echod this with "uh, can we all fit in there?"

Well, the car is called a fit (god no, I didn't say that).

We had an hour drive out to Abbotsford through snow and ice. The car was comfortably packed full. But we made it there and back with ample head and leg room for all .

At the end came the shininng review from the players.

Player 1 "So Ms.S, is this a new car?"

Yup

Player 2 "It's pretty cool, its bigger than it looks."

Player 3 "Yeah, I guess the name Fit ... really....fits?"

I think that's as high a praise as you're going to get from 15 year olds

 

hey congrats on your car. i got the same color 09 earlier this wk for the wife.

 

You know I get the same thing all of the time too.... when people need a ride in my Fit... they always say that it looks smaller on the outside of the car but when they get inside of it they can belive how much space is inside the car... almost like an optical illusion... ( you know smoke and mirror type Sh!t )

 

Great, your Fit is now going to smell like a teenage boys locker room, haha. I've been a part of it and it doesn't smell good. Baking Soda anybody?

 

Did you get any complaints from the person riding in the middle in the back seat?

 

Well, you gotta put the 5'4 point guard somewhere, haha.
