My new Fit in the snow!
My new Fit in the snow!
We picked up my Milano Red AT Fit on Friday, then had to leave it parked outside for the weekend. Mother Nature decided to be mean with a big ice/snow storm (thick layer of ice under almost 10" of snow). The Fit survived well and thankfullly, wasn't hit by any falling tree branches.

I feel your pain. We didn't get quite as much snow, but it was frustrating to get a new car and not be able to drive it.
Today's storm is worse. I woke up at 5:30 AM to about an inch of snow. At 7:45 when I left for work, there was 4 inches. It should be close to done, but the rate of snow at times was 2 inches an hour.
Needless to say, my car just sits happily in my garage! It hasn't been out to play in the snow yet.

I have been very impressed with how my Fit has handled the winter weather. Our streets are covered with a thick layer of packed snow, ice, and slush. The Fit has driven through it all without any problems. Only once over the last four days have I felt it slip a little on ice. We are extremely pleased!
Even Us Canadians don't get that much snow..... God must be really angry with y'all
On the subject of snow the fit does pretty good in the winter weather considering it's shorter wheel base and weight. Brakey's are always a good time to. Enjoy the winter fun while it lasts!
