New to the Fit

Hello,

I am in the market for a used Honda Fit. I live in california and i am looking for a fun, commuter car. I have a little bit of experience with automobiles, and modifying them.

I have 2-3 friends with these cars (not on the forums i believe), and they really love them, so i am here to do more research on these cars before jumping into them. I am a fan of the older 08 body style. I may even consider picking up some parts here and there while i get ready to buy the car itself. Will continue to hang around here, and post more as well.

Also noticed that the sign banner has a yellow fit (or a jazz?). After searching a bit, i found no yellow one sold here in the states. Were these cars sold here in yellow? (I am a yellow car fan, what can i say? lol)

What are the common problems with these cars (if any?), and how well do they respond to bolt on modifications? Not looking for a billion horsepower, just something to pep-up the car.

Thanks for reading my post.

The yellow color was never sold in the states as far as I know. I dont have any bolt ons, so I dont know about that exactly. I know the fit engine was not built to be super fast or quick. Have you driven one of your friends cars? To be such a small car, the fit feels like its pretty quick for its size. A few bolt ons should give you a little bit noticeable difference, but probably not anything jaw-dropping.
Besides, the fit is better at handling the corners , not speed in a straight line.
