Cleaning Inner Windshield/Windows

This might seem like a bit of a strange and unnecessary question :P But I swear it's legitimate!

Basically our windshields are frickin' huge and slope a long ways down the dash. When it gets dirty on the inside from who knows what - stupid friends who somehow put their HANDS on the windshield (I know, who does that right?); its hard to just use glass cleaner and a cloth and reach the whole window down to the bottom without leaving streaks or smudgy glass.

Has anyone come up with a device/method for cleaning theirs that doesn't end in a mess of glass cleaner or water all over their dash and instruments or crazy smudges and streaks on the windshield?

I'm thinking a wet swiffer stick... :P

I use a window wizard and Prima Clarity.

You can get the wizard from amazon, griots garage, autosportscatalog, etc.

I use a Microfiber towel and soapy water. Yeah the bottom of the windshield is a PITA! I may look into getting one of those handle things "as seen on tv". I use to use windex but when i tinted my previous car, I was told to not use chemicals on tint as it ends up blurring after time.

Soapy water (small amount of dish soap) when the windshield is cool I found will minimize streaks.

Thanks all, I'm gonna check out some of these extended handle-type solutions.

I'll also stick to soap and water by the sounds of it.

I use an Invisible Glass Reach and Clean tool. Got mine at Target in the automotive dept.

I also got the long-handle window cleaner from "as seen on tv".
It works great.
