Just like the title says. I changed the oil today (actually weather was bad so I went to a Valvoline). The oil was changed but now the maintenance minder won't reset to 100% oil life. What can I do?

 

It's in the owners manual, but you have to reset it manually. Turn the ignition to II. use the button on the dash to cycle to the oil life display. Hold it in for like 5 seconds (it should start to blink) let the button go. Push it back in and hold (like another 5 seconds) until it resets to 100%

 

I literally JUST walked back in from trying again. I had to hold it WAY longer than that. Maybe like a minute or so. It's good now, but I wonder why it took so long to start flashing and let me reset it.

 

Was the engine running? It won't reset with the engine running.

 

Hmmm . . . maybe it was. I don't recall now. I forgot about that part.

 

you have to hold it down for something like 10 or 15 seconds first. it's in the owner's manual.

 

Mine always seems to take FOREVER to reset, I doesn't really bother me anymore. But the first couple of times i was like " OK what have I done wrong?"

 

Hold it down like. Min lol mine takes forever

 

I was mad when it wouldn't work. I was like "WTF??? FIRST I SPEND MONEY ON NEW BRAKES AND NOW THIS????" lol It was ugly.
