Why does my seat cushion come up with the back when I flip my seats?

What am I doing wrong? When I drop the Magic Seats down to increase the cargo area the seat cushion wants to come up with it when I try to bring them back to upright position. Is there a trick to prevent this?

You sure the seat leg is being fully clicked into the floor bracket?

I don't quite understand? The whole thing is basically a hinge. Either conventionally laying seatbacks flat, or "magically" folding seatbottoms up...but there is nothing attaching the two sides of the hinge to each other. So unless your brackets that hold the seat "bottoms" to the floor are so loose the aren't properly locking your seatbottoms down, moving one side of the "hinge" shouldn't affect the other.

Not sure I'm seeing your problem correctly.

Krimson_Cardnal is bang on for my similiar situation.

My left seat leg does not clicked readily and I have to apply a bit more pressure on the leg folded against the seat to hear the click to lock the leg/seat before I let down the magic seat so that the seat cushions will not detach when I lift up the seat later
