head rests!!!???

when using magic seat feature, you usually take off the headrest, but where do you guys store it? just take it out of the car? or leave it in the car and let it free roaming? can't seem to find a good way to keep them in tac...

I would recommend getting a nice little bag that will hold them. Then, have someone sew a strip of velcro to the bottom and just set it in on the rug somewhere.

The back seat headrest can stay in place! It fits under the front seat. Move the front seat all the way forward before lowering the back seat and when you slide the front seat back into position, the headrest is under the front seat.

kndlewis is correct. U do NOT have to remove the back headrests in order for the car to go into cargo mode. Just slide the front seats ALL THE WAY FORWARD then fold down the back seats. u will see that the shape of the headrests is like that for a reason cuz it goes UNDERNEATH the front seats. U can then move the front seats back 2 ur normal driving position. The drivers seat has the slide forward control on the shoulder support for a reason, so u don't have to go to the front seats and reach under the seat to slide it forward.

Mine sit nicely in the closet in my garage. Usually don't have anyone in the Fit except me and someone on the passenger side anyway. Now that I think of it, I have had my Fit since late April and only had people in the back seat once. (yes I used the headrests when they were back there)

Yes, this is a failure on the part of the salesman who didn't show you how MFin cool this car is. The headrests DO get in the way when you're trying to see where you're backing up, though.

I pulled my rear seat headrests out and threw them in my room, I haven't had the back seats up in months. It's basically a 2 seater

Yeah, I am still alive, just been working too much to have very much fun.
The squirrels turned me loose after finding out that the rest of my family had no nuts.

Taking next week off, so I'm thinking of going to visit my brother in Panama City Beach, FL and get one last trip to the beach.

How are things in the Far East?

I found a bag at a local Dollar Store. It's made for washing "delicate" clothing items but it's the perfect size for two headrests. It even has a zipper in the end. And guess how much I paid for it? ONE DOLLAR! (Thus the name Dollar Store!!)

Yep correct. I didn't figure this out until later on. You never remove the headrest except for relax mode.

I used to have them in the trunk area since seeing over them was a pain in the ass. But like others have said they don't need to be removed to put the seats in cargo mode. The only time you need to remove a headrest is for refreash mode, and you have to take out the front headrests.

I now have my spare tire removed from the car and just carry a can of fix a flat with me. Since then I keep the headrests in the spare tire well so they're out of the way of the trunk, but I can still get to them on the fly if I need to carry more than one passenger.

I left the rears on until I was constantly moving the seats down and up. I just took em out and put them in a duffel bag. The only one that rides back there is my dog anyways.

I don't even use refresh mode anymore, since the back seats are down most times, I just have a blanket in the back, and take a nape in cargo mode, muuuuch better ^__^
