new muffler...stock resonator question

I just had a magnaflow muffler put on and It's pretty queit, however the stock resonator seems loud...is this my imagination. The noise seems to be comming right at the resonator and I can barely hear the muffler. Should I have this cut out? Will my muffler get louder? thanks for any advice...kirinzon

I'm looking for the cheapest way to go for now. The muffler has no rasp...it has a deep tone, however the stock res. has rasp. and I can't stand it. Will my muffler develop rasp if I remove the res.?

Before the new muffler the res. had no rasp and I didn't notice it...so if I cut it out what will the exhaust sound like?

to get an idea... here check my thread, the last page has some sound/vid clips of a custom unresonated b-pipe https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gaug...tml#post992035

If you need hiflow resonators... you want one of these https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...w-14444-a.html

I couldn't hear any rasp in that video. I think cutting out the resonator would be the deal. I would rather have noise comming from my muffler than the resonator located under the front passenger. If i cut it out would the cat make any rasp? Its strange that the resonator wasn't noticable with the restrictive stock muff and know with a straight through its loud...any facts on why that is? thanks evil
