I have recently done an oil change to my car and i was wondering if you are suppose to reset the oil percentage on the dash manually or does it reset by itself?

i used mobil 1 advanced fuel economy 0w-20

that's the only 0w-20 i was able to find, i was wondering what you guys are using

 

It's all explained in the little book that came with your car.

 

oh!! you mean he should look in the OWNER'S MANUAL? i'm incline to agree with you sir.

 

i already looked through it a few times i also called the dealers and they don't know themselves =(

 

Page 248 of the 2010 manual as a PDF. It starts like this:
Resetting the Engine Oil Life
Display
Your dealer will reset the display
after completing the required
maintenance service. You will see
‘‘OIL LIFE 100%’’ on the information
display the next time you turn the
ignition switch to the ON (II)
position.
If maintenance service is done by
someone other than your dealer,
reset the maintenance minder as
follows:
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position.
2. Press the select/reset knob
repeatedly until the engine oil life
is displayed.

I use what ever the dealer puts in. Mobil 0w20 is very good oil and you wont have problems. I would check the oil level from time to time. I usually check it every other tank full. BTW welcome to Fitfreak
