Orange/Yellow colour on front brake pads?

Hey guys, i notice that everytime i finish washing my car, and i look at the brakes on the front wheels, they are a yellow/orangy rust colour..

should i be worried about this? what is it? of course, after driving it and braking, it goes away, and reveals again the grey concentric circles of the brake pad

anyone know what i'm talkin about?

It's normal. Nothing to worry about.

Anytime water sits on the brakes the chemical reaction causes the color. It is absolutely normal.

This "normal" material is just rust, and the brake pads soon rub it off, so I wouldn't worry about it-- it's not a problem unless you're constantly driving through deep puddles to continually produce more.
