Conti DWS long term reviews

I think I am going to buy some Conti DWS tires. I think the 205/50/16 is what I am going with. What I am wondering is what kind of mileage did you folks get out of these tires? I have the stock Bridgestones and have @43,000 miles on these tires. For the long term did the standard tire pressue of 33 PSI work OK? From all the reviews on the tire web sites these seem to be good tires. Not much to pick from in the 185/55/16 size.

Thanks for any info.

Russ

Have had mine for 10k so far with no real signs of wear @ 43 psi... D/W/S are all visible and tire feels better than it did new. Definitely count on wearing them in for a little while before they compare favorably

43 psi? It must be a harsh ride.

I've had them for about 5000 miles, and they've been good. I keep them in the upper 30s for pressure, because with less than that they feel squirmy from the soft-ish sidewalls and width of the tire compared to the rim. Can't say much for wear since I've only had them since June, nor much for snow, but they've been good in rain. They corner nice and ride comfortably and track better on the highway in crosswinds than the Bridgestones did. Mileage has probably taken a 1-2 mpg hit, and maybe a bit more if I don't keep them up to the same pressure as the temperature drops.

not on a Fit, but I had a set on my Evo for a while and was very impressed. Good handling, good ride, good grip in all conditions. I wouldn't expect them to last 43000 miles, but maybe that's the 400hp and 3600lbs that does that lol
