How much money have you put into your Fit?

After buying your Fit and everything how much money have you spent on aftermarket parts and things to fix it up just the way you like it.. I know there will be much more money spent when more parts become avaliable.. but Iam just curious to the amount you have already spent.

Wow! 1k in wheels, what kind and size of wheels are you getting? Are you getting new tread too? I think I am going to get some kosei k-1's for mine when it arrives. I had some white ones on my 94 lude and they looked great, not to mention they are light weight.

Around $400 on all-season mats, cargo mat, cargo cover and armrest. Still need foglight films and possibly tint, but the tint has to wait until I actually GET the car

Way too much, over $1000 easily already and I'm no where near done with what I have in mind for my Fit. Good thing I'm keeping this car as my daily driver or else I'd go really overboard with modifications.

It wouldn't matter what car I have or will get: No Tune, No Life

A little higher if you count what I spent to get shopping cart dents out! The "extras" were the floor mats (from Bernardi), a digital tire gauge (black & silver -- matches the Fit), and a cable for the aux port. And let's not forget the new car vac to get the pet hair off the plush seats.

$17.99 for mats from Target (rubbermaid)

$14.99 Maguire NXT wax

next up... Home depot's carpet section they sell rubber flooring. I will be cutting them to shape and then lining the edge. Tada! Less than 10 bucks I'll have rubber covers.

Kragen is up next too.. Penzoil Platinum Synthetic 6 Quart $25 - $15 Mail in Rebate = $11.

My friend is a tinter so he is going to have my pay only for the materials.

A.

So far I estimate $1,245 - wow! It adds up fast.

Window tint $190
X-pel $830
Sun-visors $20
Cargo Box $25
iPod cable/charger$50
Armrest $120
Sunshield $15

The only additional items I'm thinking about are the all-seasons mats and exhaust tip.

X-pel is the 3M protective film like ClearBra (and there are many other brands). It protects your paint from chips and bug stains, and also helps protect your lights from breakage.

$830 seems like a lot but it is the thicker film that is very strong. It has a 5-year warranty. I had the guy do all of the hood except maybe 4", front bumper, spoiler, lip, headlights, foglights, front fenders, and side mirrors. He also did (at no charge) the front door sills and the rear hatch sill on the bumper.

Hmmm... well, definitely over $1k. Floor mats, cargo tray, cargo cover, chrome exhaust finisher, rear bumper applique, window tinting, Sirius radio, extra set of wheels & tires (from the author of this thread!), 1-1/4" Curt hitch, license plate covers, plus other miscellanous stuff. I'm still waiting on my door sill plates and door vent visors.

Should I include the additional $15,200 for my other half's Fit, since she has now decided she wants one, too? We've ordered her a Base Lunar Mist A/T, to be plated either "MIST FIT" or "AZULITO."
