Removing goo-ey tree sap?

just noticed that there's a few quarter sized tree sap blob's on my windsheild and paint...

how do i get it off!?!

most of it has started to harden, i tried scratching em off with my fingers but it doesn't do much and i end up with sticky fingers..

car soap and water didn't seem to work either..

google said use nail polish remover...

i also have a claybar....

tips and tricks any1?

agreed. I took mine to a car wash and still had those marks even after they pressure washed it. I asked the guys about it and they said that to remove the stuff stuck on, you need to claybar it.
